Position Overview
Union Spirits is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Bartender to take ownership of the bar operations. This individual will be instrumental in curating seasonal menus, leading the bar team, and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will be a creative mixologist and a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities
- . Lead daily bar operations, ensuring smooth, efficient service.
- · Create and implement seasonal cocktail menus with attention to trends and innovation.
- · Train, mentor, and motivate bartenders and barbacks.
- · Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the bar area.
- · Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control with the Beverage Director.
- · Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- · Deliver warm, knowledgeable, and attentive guest experiences.
- · Represent Union Spirits' brand and culture with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Qualifications
- · Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in a high-end or craft cocktail setting.
- · Leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- · Extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktail techniques, and bar operations.
- · Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and reliability.
- · Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- · Familiarity with POS and inventory systems.
- · NC RASP Alcohol certification required.
