Job Description
Premier International College invites applications for full time and part-time Practical Nursing (PN) Instructor positions. This is a 12-month appointment, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Candidates with clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing, community/public health, or mental health nursing are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will primarily teach theory, laboratory, and clinical courses within the Practical Nursing (PN) program.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Teach theory, laboratory, and clinical courses in the Practical Nursing (PN) program
- Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students
- Participate in curriculum development and program improvement
- Support accreditation and regulatory compliance activities
- Engage in institutional and community service
- Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to enhance student learning
- Utilize technology and, where applicable, support blended or online learning
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid and current practicing license
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent (preferred; diploma with strong experience may be considered depending on regulations)
- Minimum of 5 years clinical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Eligibility to practice and/or teach nursing in the Florida
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching experience in a nursing or healthcare training institution
- Experience in practical nursing education
- Expertise in medical-surgical, community health, or mental health nursing
- Experience with simulation-based teaching
- Familiarity with online or blended learning methods
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong clinical knowledge and hands-on nursing skills
- Excellent communication and teaching abilities
- Ability to mentor and support diverse learners
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, learning platforms)
- Understanding of professional nursing standards and ethical practice
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development and student success
