Electrical Service Technician

As an Electrical Service Technician you will be joining a fast-track electrical contractor headquartered in Morrisville, NC. You will be responsible for safely performing a range of electrical tasks in various settings such as commercial, retail, healthcare, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate is trustworthy and confident and their knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
- Read blueprints and technical documents to plan and execute installations.
- Test, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues while ensuring compliance with safety codes.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical components.
- Maintain accurate records of work, including logs and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, and other trades for efficient project completion.
- Provide technical support to team members and stay updated on industry standards.
- Follow safety protocols and respond promptly to emergency service calls.

Requirements:

- 5 years of commercial or industrial electrical service experience
- Electrical apprenticeship, technical school, licensed electrician and/or journeyman's licensure is a plus
- Ability to lift and move 60lbs required
- Must be comfortable working at heights of 55 feet
- Competent in reading blueprints, using electrical tools, and coordinating with inspectors.
- Flexibility to work after hours, including weekends, holidays, and during emergencies.
- Must hold a valid NC driver's license. Willing and able to drive a box truck.
- NFPA 70E certification & OSHA 10 certification
