Job Description
The Front of the House (FOH) Manager at Wunsche Bros. Café & Saloon is responsible for leading daily service operations, developing the service team, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience at every touchpoint. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires constant presence on the floor, strong communication, and the ability to set and uphold standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
The FOH Manager represents the Wunsche Bros. legacy—hospitality, consistency, and pride in service—while driving accountability, teamwork, and results.
Position SummaryThe FOH Manager oversees all front-of-house operations including hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff. This role ensures smooth service flow, strong team morale, guest satisfaction, and alignment with Wunsche Bros.’ service standards. The FOH Manager leads by example, coaches in real time, and owns the guest experience from open to close.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead daily front-of-house operations with a strong, visible presence on the floor
Set, enforce, and uphold service standards, hospitality expectations, and brand values
Manage and coach FOH staff including hosts, servers, bartenders, and support roles
Actively engage with guests, resolve issues in real time, and ensure memorable experiences
Oversee floor plans, table turns, reservations, and guest flow during service
Conduct pre-shifts, shift transitions, and post-shift follow-ups
Monitor service quality, speed, cleanliness, and presentation
Support scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance accountability
Partner with leadership to drive team culture, communication, and consistency
Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws, safety standards, and company policies
Prior FOH management or supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable
Exceptional guest service instincts and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional in high-volume service
Strong communication skills with staff, guests, and leadership
Organized, detail-oriented, and operationally aware
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
