RN - Neuro ICU

Position Overview – Neuro ICU RN (Auto Offer)

• Auto Offer – Immediate placement for qualified candidates
• Shift/Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 nights
• Contract: 48-hour contract available 

License & Certifications:

• Active VA or Compact RN License required at submission – no exceptions
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA only), and NIHSS required

Experience & Skills Requirements:

• Must have strong neuro ICU experience (post-neurosurgical, EVD, stroke patients)
• Must be proficient in: ventilator care, IV drip titration, telemetry, conscious sedation, dysrhythmia & emergency management
• Float required to Stepdown and potentially to ED/Med-Surg to care for ICU-level patients
• Ratios: 1:2–3
• Experience: 3 years of critical care preferred, travel experience preferred
• EMR: EPIC proficiency required – no exceptions
