Fabricator/Welder
Pay Rate: $20 - $25/Hour
Location: Castroville, CA
Full-Time / Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays)
Hours: 7am – 4:30pm (Flexibility as needed)
Reports To: Manufacturing Manager

Job Description:
As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be a critical part of our manufacturing process, responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our products. You will use your welding and fabrication expertise to produce and assemble components that meet exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Welding and Fabrication:
- Perform welding on various types of metal, including stainless steel.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to accurately assemble and weld components.
- Measure, cut, and shape metal using various tools and machinery.
- Ensure the quality and structural integrity of welded joints.
Assembly and Production:
- Assemble components and parts for wood-fired ovens, pizza ovens, and outdoor cooking equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely production.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and organizing materials in the fabrication area.
Quality Control:
- Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to verify that the finished products meet specifications and quality standards.
- Report and address any welding or fabrication defects promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols, guidelines, and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Comply with company policies and regulations related to fabrication and welding.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified welder with experience in different welding techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Experience in metal fabrication, including cutting, shaping, and grinding.
- Familiarity with welding machinery and tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 45+ lbs.
- Standing, bending, and performing repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Use of personal protective equipment as required.
