Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Liberty, NY, serving a K-12 school setting. This contract role requires onsite work 2-3 days per week, focusing on delivering effective speech and language therapy services to students.
Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment. The role supports a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade, providing tailored therapy plans and collaborating with educational staff to ensure students’ communication needs are met.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Valid New York State SLP license
- New York State TSSLD license
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within school or healthcare settings
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Familiarity with telespeech services beneficial
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is a plus
