Position: HR Coordinator Location: East Portland, OR (onsite) Duration: Temp-to-hire Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Compensation: $25-$32 per hour, depending on experience
Introduction: LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company based out of East Portland, OR. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will support key human resources functions including employee onboarding, benefits administration, HR recordkeeping, and HR project support, helping to foster a positive and efficient workplace.

Introduction: LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company based out of East Portland, OR. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will support key human resources functions including employee onboarding, benefits administration, HR recordkeeping, and HR project support, helping to foster a positive and efficient workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience
- Maintain HRIS records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations
- Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries
- Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, applicant tracking, and interview scheduling
- Assist with employee relations issues under guidance from HR leadership
- Help coordinate performance management processes and HR projects
- Assist with leave administration, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims
- Contribute to HR initiatives to improve processes and engagement
- 1-3 years of experience in HR or related role
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
