RN ER -  Goodland, KS

Night 3x12-Hour

Unit Specifics:

• Primary unit: Emergency Room (ER)

• May float to: Med-Surg

• Staff expected to work both ER and Med-Surg, depending on daily needs

• Some shifts may involve more Med-Surg than ER – please clarify this with your HCP

Requirements & Preferences:

• No mileage restrictions

• Prefer previous travel experience (but open to first-time travelers)

• May consider candidates with less than 3 years of experience

• EMR: Athena

• No specific scrub color required

• Covid vaccine exemptions accepted

• Flu vaccine not required

Certifications Required:

• BLS

• ACLS

• PALS

• TNCC

Staffing & Ratios:

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: usually 1:3, max 1:5

• Team on the floor: 2 nurses, 1 CNA, and 1 unit secretary

• LPNs also used on the unit
