Location: Plattsburgh
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent | No On-Call
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Compensation: $70 – $90 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $60,000
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing Urgent Care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have prior urgent care or emergency department experience and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
Provide care for adult and pediatric patients
Manage patient cases in a high-volume urgent care setting
Perform minor procedures and clinical assessments as needed
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the EMR system
Requirements
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of New York
Minimum 1 year of Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience
PA Candidates: Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
NP Candidates: Certification through American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
New Graduate Opportunity
New graduate NPs or PAs may be eligible to participate in a 9-month accredited fellowship program designed to provide advanced clinical training and mentorship.
