Position Summary

The Physician Assistant (PA) provides high-quality, patient-centered medical care in a fast-paced urgent care environment. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages while collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Provide care for adult and pediatric patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Perform minor procedures as appropriate within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active New York State PA license
• NCCPA board certification required
• DEA registration (or eligibility)
• Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
