Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a rewarding assignment providing expert psychological services to students in a supportive, collaborative school setting. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and continues through May 22, 2026, primarily serving Lafayette Elementary and Peak to Peak PK-12 Charter School. You’ll enjoy a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, focused on meaningful, student-centered support in an onsite-only capacity.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid CDE School Psychologist License is required
- Demonstrated experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational environment
- Strong understanding of school-based psychological assessment, interventions, and special education processes
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes and promoting inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs using standardized tools and school protocols
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to design effective intervention and support strategies
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Caseload of approximately 1/50, focusing on promoting student success and well-being
