Patient Service Coordinator

We’re seeking an organized, patient‐focused Patient Service Coordinator for a 13‐week contract assignment in a healthcare setting. In this role, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for patients, families, and clinical teams—helping ensure a positive, efficient, and well‐coordinated patient experience.

Schedule

• 13‐week contract
• Monday–Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• No weekends

What You’ll Do

• Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone with professionalism and compassion
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments, procedures, and follow‐up visits
• Manage patient check‐in/check‐out and ensure accurate demographic and insurance information
• Maintain and update patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and clinical staff to support care coordination
• Answer patient questions and address concerns in a timely and respectful manner
• Assist with referrals, authorizations, and coordination of services as needed
• Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and report preparation
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required (associate degree or healthcare coursework preferred)
• Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, or patient‐facing administrative role preferred
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency with computers, EMR systems, and Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced healthcare environment
• Professional, compassionate, and patient‐centered approach
