CNC Machinist

We are seeking motivated and safety-focused CNC Machinists to join a precision manufacturing team. This opportunity is open to candidates ranging from developing machinists gaining hands-on experience to advanced technicians capable of machine setup, multi-axis machining, and program optimization. This role supports the production of precision metal components while maintaining strong quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components to required specifications
• Set up machines, fixtures, and tooling based on experience level and training
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments
• Replace or adjust tooling and offsets to maintain product quality
• Assist with or perform CNC program edits and basic programming depending on skill level
• Monitor production output, maintain quality standards, and minimize scrap
• Accurately complete production and inspection documentation
• Maintain clean and organized workstations following workplace organization standards
• Transport materials and finished components using approved material handling equipment
• Support general production activities and collaborate with team members to meet production goals
• Follow all safety procedures and report equipment or process concerns
• Perform physical job duties including extended standing, walking, and lifting materials up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; machining trade school or technical training preferred
• Entry-level candidates with machining education or hands-on training are encouraged to apply
• Advanced candidates should have experience with CNC machine setup, multi-axis machining, and program adjustments
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and part specifications
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators
• Understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and material behavior is preferred
• Basic mathematical and computer skills required
• Experience using standard hand tools in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented production environment
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety and quality
