Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on employment law, contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and vendor contracts
• Support internal investigations and advise on risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and operations teams on legal issues
• Assist with litigation management and coordination with external counsel
• Monitor changes in legislation and assess impact on company policies

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Illinois
• 3+ years of experience in a corporate legal environment or law firm
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of employment law, contract law, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
