Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with experience in 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications while ensuring high quality and efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines including 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis mills and/or lathes
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine calibrations
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMM, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize programs/processes
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards

 

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience (5-axis experience strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in reading GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Experience with CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
