Orthopedic Sports Surgeon in Central Wisconsin

Join a collaborative, physician-led orthopedic group in Central Wisconsin with high procedural volume and a strong referral network. This Sports Medicine role offers a dynamic mix of clinic, ASC, and hospital-based practice, a clear path to partnership, and the opportunity to grow your practice while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

• Team of 4 orthopedic surgeons + 1 foot & ankle specialist, with subspecialty support in spine, hand, and total joint
• Practice-owned ASC, walk-in ortho clinic, onsite MRI, and therapy services all located in the main clinic
• Dedicated APP support; incoming surgeon may have their own PA/NP for clinic and OR coverage
• Mix of sports-focused procedures including arthroscopic shoulder, knee, and hip, with access to both ASC and hospital ORs

• Approx. 20 patients/day, split between clinic and OR
• 1:5 call, moving to 1:6 in 2026; call burden typically includes 2 calls/week and 1-2 surgeries (mostly hip fractures)
• OR time split between efficient ASC (on-site, overnight capabilities) and affiliated hospital (Level III trauma)
• Weekly sports surgical volume 5-8 cases

• First-year salary of 400,000 with sign-on bonus
• Partnership after Year 1 with low buy-in; surgeons keep all collections
• Ancillary income examples: ~400K from EMR/therapy and ~1M from surgical profits

• Board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeon
• Comfortable with a broad arthroscopic case mix, including ACLs, labral repairs, and sports trauma
