Job Type: Permanent Placement - Direct Hire
Shift Requirements: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Mandatory flu vaccine policy.
Pay Salary: $32-$37/hour depending on experience. (Relocation Allowance: Up to $1,500 with receipts. Sign on bonus: $10,000)
EMR: Cerner
**Note: Rad Tech needed to work XR ad CT. Must have TX license and ARRT cert. Hospital Radiology unit, covers inpatient unit, ED, and outpatient studies. Typical Staffing: 3-4 techs covering modalities of Mammography, X-ray, CT, and MRI. 1 staff tech daily to cover X-ray/CT. Scrubs: Any solid color. Jewelry should be conservative, no facial piercings or tongue rings.**
Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray and CT plays a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services for both adult and pediatric patients, including specialized trauma cases. Reporting to the Radiology Manager, this technologist works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and adapts to flexible scheduling to meet patient and departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-Ray imaging procedures accurately and safely
- Conduct CT scans to assist in precise diagnosis
- Adhere to patient care protocols for both adult and pediatric populations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain flexible availability for on-call and emergency shifts as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in radiologic technology
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
- Valid State Radiologic Technologist License
- Proficiency in X-Ray imaging techniques
