Core Responsibilities

Clinical & Quality Leadership

• Ensure evidence-based emergency care
• Monitor quality outcomes and patient safety
• Maintain regulatory and accreditation compliance

Operations Management

• Oversee daily ED staffing and workflow
• Manage patient flow (admissions, discharges, throughput)
• Control equipment readiness and operational costs

Team Leadership

• Hire, coach, and develop nursing staff
• Handle employee relations (conflict resolution, grievances)
• Improve staff engagement and retention

Patient Experience

• Lead patient satisfaction initiatives
• Manage service recovery situations
• Promote patient-first culture

Required Qualifications

• Active RN or APRN license
• Minimum 1 year recent acute care ER leadership experience
• • (Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Coordinator, etc.)
• Associate degree or Nursing Diploma

Certifications

• BLS: within 30 days
• ACLS: within 6 months
• PALS: within 6 months
