Machine Oparator

Our Client in Rockdale is looking for Machine Operators for their facility

This position could be a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidates

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 7 am - 5 pm

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 5 pm - 3 am

Pay Rate: $18-$18.50/hr

Responsibilities:

• Ability to load, operate and offload materials for Ink Preparation into computer driven mixers
• Ability to conform to production requirements and specifications; maintain control over processes
• Attention to detail to perform error-proofing routines and identify areas where defects can occur
• Measure output and efficiency by performance standards, cycle times, etc
• Housekeeping - Works to sustain a productive and safe work environment
• Complete routine paperwork
• Perform routine/incidental maintenance and inspections
• Stage product to be dried and move dry material for further processing
• Monitor product quality by visual inspection of the product and taking required
  samples and testing as necessary.
• Perform mechanical and pre-startup inspections
• Operate a Sit Down Forklift

Qualifications:

Requires proof of HS diploma/GED and employment verification for the last 5 years up to 3 employers. Interview and Resume are required too.

Experience/Skills:

• Previous manufacturing experience is required
• Fork Truck Experience is required
• Able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
• Able to stand and walk for up to an 8-10 hour shift
• General lab skills, computer, basic math - percentages, averages, attention to details
