Hot Opening: Cardiac Care Nurse

Role Overview

• Open-heart surgery
• Cardiac catheterization & stent placement
• Ablations
• Pacemaker / AICD placement
• Other cardiovascular surgeries
• Stroke and STEMI cases (comprehensive facility)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under hospital/Nursing Practice Act guidelines
• Coordinate patient care and assume full accountability for assigned patients
• Work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Handle moderately high-acuity cardiac patients
• Maintain documentation and follow hospital protocols

Requirements

• 1+ year acute care or cardiac nursing experience
• RN license (Missouri or eligible)
• Nursing school graduate (accredited program)

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly range: $30 – $41 (based on experience)
• Night differential: +$4/hr
• Weekend differential: +$4/hr

Sign-on Bonus

• $30,000 (Nights) – 2-year commitment
• $12,000 (Days) – 2-year commitment

Schedule

• Day & night shifts available
• Rotating weekends
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3 to 1:5 (max 5 patients)
