Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator in the construction industry to lead our estimating team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for healthcare, laboratory, or education projects, ensuring accurate and competitive bids while adhering to project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for construction projects, specifically in the healthcare, laboratory, and/or education sector.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine project costs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Review bid documents and proposals, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and scope of work.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and team members.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on budget management and cost control strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on healthcare, laboratory, and/or education projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and technology.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail.
