Job DescriptionCompany Description
- Driving to various locations to deliver items to customers or businesses.
- Loading/Unloading: Safely packing items into the vehicle and unloading them at the destination, which may include lifting heavy items
. - Route Planning: Using GPS devices and knowledge of local roads to find the most efficient routes and meet deadlines.
- Customer Service: Representing the company professionally, resolving customer complaints, and answering questions.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Performing basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is clean, and reporting issues.
- Receiving & Processing: Unloading, checking for damages, labeling, and scanning incoming inventory.
- Inventory Control: Organizing stock for accessibility, performing cycle counts, and updating inventory systems.
- Order Fulfillment:
Picking, scanning, packing, and wrapping orders for shipment. - Shipping & Logistics: Loading delivery vehicles, ensuring accurate documentation, and scheduling shipments.
