Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

We’re seeking experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses who thrive in fast‐paced surgical environments and are committed to delivering safe, high‐quality perioperative care. Schedule

• Per Diem
• 12‐Hour Shifts
• Shift start times:
  • 6:45 AM (Days)
  • 6:45 PM (Nights)

What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and ready
• Function as a circulating and/or scrub nurse based on assignment
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control and safety standards
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers throughout procedures
• Document surgical events, counts, and patient care accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and post‐operative expectations
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience required
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative protocols
• Experience circulating and/or scrubbing preferred
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high‐pressure situations
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team‐oriented mindset
