ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME) Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite) Schedule: Part-Time, 16-20 hours per week Pay: $20 - $25 per hour Duration: Contract to hire
Overview A long-standing client of LHH Recruitment is seeking a reliable and motivated Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day office operations in a welcoming, professional onsite environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and an excellent fit for someone looking to gain hands-on administrative experience, reenter the workforce, or pivot into an administrative or HR-focused career.
This role is often viewed as a paid internship-style opportunity with meaningful exposure to office administration, onboarding, and workplace operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and friendly lobby presence, greeting visitors and supporting front-desk needs
- Answer and direct incoming calls, ensuring accurate message-taking and routing
- Order and manage office supplies and breakroom snacks, maintaining inventory and cleanliness
- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation, including preparation of materials and coordination on start days
- Provide general administrative support to the office and internal teams as needed
- Participate in and support activities related to the Safety Committee, including documentation and meeting coordination
- Support a positive, organized, and engaging office environment
- Strong communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple small tasks
- Basic computer skills; comfortable learning new systems and processes
- Interest in administrative work, HR, or office operations
- Ability to work onsite in Beaverton on a consistent, part-time schedule
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelors Degree is a big plus
