Business Development Representative – Light Industrial & Professional Staffing

Location: Dallas, Texas Competitive Pay + Commission

What You’ll Do
  1. Drive Growth
  2. Research your market, identify prospects, and build a targeted list
  3. Execute a strategic sales plan that includes cold calling, warm follow-ups, and in-person visits.
  4. Deliver engaging presentations that leave decision-makers ready to sign
  5. Negotiate terms, close deals, and hit your targets
  6. Be the Client’s Trusted Partner
  7. Build strong relationships through networking events, chambers, and local business groups.
  8. Understand client needs, confirm job details, and flag any safety issues on-site
  9. Collaborate with recruiters to make sure every order is filled quickly and accurately
  10. Handle service issues with urgency and professionalism to keep clients satisfied
  11. Keep the Machine Running Smoothly
  12. Document your sales activity and client notes to keep your pipeline clean and clear
  13. Work across departments to ensure a seamless process from job order to placement
What You Bring
  1. 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in staffing or recruiting
  2. Strong communication and presentation skills
  3. A knack for business development and client management
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  5. Confidence, coachability, and the ability to connect with anyone
  6. Willingness to get out there—cold calls, site visits, networking events, all of it
