Job Description
Licensed Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT)
Location: Tulsa
Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Respiratory Therapist to join a growing healthcare team dedicated to delivering high-quality respiratory care. In this role, you will assess, implement, and evaluate respiratory therapy treatments for patients in both critical and non-critical care settings while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and monitor patients’ respiratory status and clinical condition
Administer respiratory treatments including nebulizer therapy, aerosol treatments, and medical gases
Perform chest physiotherapy, incentive spirometry, and respiratory mechanics testing
Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
Assist with clinical procedures such as intubation, extubation, bronchoscopy, and suctioning
Monitor patient response to ventilator adjustments and respiratory therapies
Document patient care and verify physician orders within the EMR system
Respond to Code Blue and emergency situations as required
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care programs
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
Active Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License or temporary letter to practice
CRT or RRT certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
BLS certification within 2 months of hire
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Preferred Experience
ICU experience required
NICU and ER experience preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment
