Medical Technologist Generalist

Medical Technologist – Panama City, FL

Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Rotating Weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, blood bank, microbiology, and more
• Analyze and interpret complex test results
• Maintain quality control and troubleshoot lab equipment
• Handle specimen processing, documentation, and phlebotomy
• Train new staff and support lab operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field
• FL State Technologist License (or in process) – Generalist required
• MT/MLS certification (ASCP preferred)
• Strong lab foundation; new grads with clinical/lab experience considered

Compensation & Benefits:

• $28.65 – $36.95/hour (based on experience)
• Night differential: +$3.00/hour
• Sign-on bonus: $15,000
