Medical Technologist – Panama City, FL
Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Rotating Weekends)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, blood bank, microbiology, and more
- Analyze and interpret complex test results
- Maintain quality control and troubleshoot lab equipment
- Handle specimen processing, documentation, and phlebotomy
- Train new staff and support lab operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field
- FL State Technologist License (or in process) – Generalist required
- MT/MLS certification (ASCP preferred)
- Strong lab foundation; new grads with clinical/lab experience considered
Compensation & Benefits:
- $28.65 – $36.95/hour (based on experience)
- Night differential: +$3.00/hour
- Sign-on bonus: $15,000
