Manufacturing Project Estimator

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Project Estimator for a large Manufacturing Company in Sanford to help prepare quotes and project estimates. This role involves reviewing drawings, calculating materials and labor costs, and supporting project managers during the bidding process.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare project estimates and quotes

· Review drawings and specifications to determine materials needed

· Gather vendor pricing and estimate labor costs

· Create bills of materials (BOMs)

· Enter customer and project information into the system

· Organize project files and documentation

· Assist project managers during project startup

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· Strong attention to detail

· Good communication and organization skills

· Estimating or project support experience is a plus

· Electrical background preferred

Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday – Thursday (Friday’s if needed, would be overtime)

Salary: starting at $18.00
