Recruiter (Bilingual Spanish/English Highly Preferred)
Location: NE Portland, OR Duration: Contract to Hire Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday Pay: $29 - $36 per hour DOE
LHH Recruitment is seeking a people-focused Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting efforts for a growing organization based in NE Portland. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering hands-on recruiting exposure, strong team collaboration, and long-term potential.
Bilingual Spanish/English skills are highly preferred, as this role will regularly support a diverse candidate population.
Position Overview
The Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruitment across a variety of roles. This position plays a critical role in delivering a positive candidate experience while ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality hiring outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements
- Proactively source candidates using job boards, referrals, networking, and community outreach
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews (English and Spanish as needed)
- Coordinate interviews, communicate next steps, and support onboarding activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Ensure a positive, inclusive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through outreach and recruiting practices
- Attend hiring events or job fairs as needed
- 2+ year of recruiting, staffing, and/or talent acquisition experience
- Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; furthering education is a plus
