Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description:

Dr. Kanwaljit Gill is looking for a full time front/back office Medical Assistant to join our practice.

Clinical Duties:

• Answering phones
• Greet patients when they arrive
• Provide them with the necessary forms to fill out before their appointments
• Verify patients' insurance information
• Scheduling appointments.
• Take vital signs, weight, screening, and testing under the direction of a physician or Nurse Practitioner (EKG, Holter’s)
• Process clinical documentation using electronic medical record system while maintaining security compliance standards.

Education: High school diploma or GED, MA Certification

Experience:

Prior experience in medical assisting is preferred. However, each application will be evaluated on its own merit.
