Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team located in Davie, FL.

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders and store policy.

Job Description:

• Receive, stock and rotate merchandise within the warehouse according to FIFO.
• Pick and prepare orders according to packing lists.
• Inventory cycle counts.
• Pack processed orders according to established SOP.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to move boxes up to 50lbs.
• Occasionally required to walk, sit, utilize hand and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, stoop, or kneel.
• Continually work near moving mechanical parts
• Frequently work in high, precarious places
• Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions and exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather)

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Good attention to details and strong organization skills.
• Ability to apply common sense and follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong work ethic. Being on time, and punctuality is important to the team and company.
• Able to learn on the job and be reliable team player, in a fast-paced environment.
• Warehouse experience. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Basic excel skills.
• Pallet jack experience.
• Current forklift/reach truck license is a plus.
