Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess culinary expertise to assist in food preparation and cooking tasks.
*Duties*
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing
- Assist in cooking and preparing various dishes following recipes
- Operate kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, grills, and fryers
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to provide excellent service to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
*Requirements*
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with culinary tools such as knives and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Certification in food safety is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
