Nursing Admin Assistant

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Job description:

Skilled Nursing Home is seeking an experienced Nursing Administrative Assistant/ Staffing Coordinator to join our dynamic team who has extensive experience with SMARTLINX scheduling program software.

Overall duties include the following:

• Staff nursing units with prescribed number of employees on a 24-hour, 7-day- a-week basis.
• Type, file and distribute 4–6-week schedules to nursing personnel.
• Obtain necessary documents for all employees prior to scheduling.
• Responsible for verification of hours worked and reconciliation with payroll records.
• Obtain profiles for prospective employees.
• Performs receptionist duties and screens all personnel and visitors
• Data Entry
• Perform unscheduled administrative tasks as directed.
• Prepare/mail letters, and/or other correspondences to nursing staff as necessary.
• Provide clerical support to DNS and ADNS
• Arrange for meetings, conferences with staff, as directed.
• Other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary to meet the needs of the facility.
• Report complaints and grievances to the Director of Nursing Services as necessary.

• Assume the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of performing secretarial functions

To be considered candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Must have knowledge of Smartlinx program for scheduling
• Must be dedicated and committed to work
• Must have staffing experience for 300 + employees
• Must possess a minimum of an Associate Degree from an accredited college
• Candidate must be computer proficient
• Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with other personnel
