Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures as directed by healthcare providers
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including coding and documentation
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient information
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
- Assist with patient education on healthcare topics, including medication instructions and post-procedure care
Requirements:
- Certification or diploma as a Medical Assistant
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing patient care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
-Team player, scheduling appointments, phone triage, EPIC EHR, maintain compass percentage, scanning documents, prescription refills, sterilizing instruments, EKG.
-Stocking exam rooms and making sure equipment is readily available and keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
-Must be detailed orientated and record keeping.
