Why Work Here?
Employees benefit from strong, day‐one coverage that supports their health, financial security, and long‐term growth. The organization offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, disability and life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company match to help build financial stability. Paid time off, paid holidays, and access to paid training support work‐life balance and professional development. Team members receive uniforms and PPE, Teladoc access, tuition reimbursement, and family‐support programs, creating a supportive environment focused on safety, growth, and overall well‐being.
Work Environment
This role is based in a heavy industrial manufacturing plant with a 21‐day rotating schedule, so flexibility and comfort with rotating shifts are important. The facility is not temperature‐controlled; mills and furnaces generate significant heat, especially in the summer when temperatures can reach the low 100s, similar to environments such as steel mills, extrusion facilities, or paper mills. In winter, plant temperatures typically stay in the 60s. The plant is large and spread out, with departments located in separate or partially separated buildings. Some areas are clean, while others, such as the slitting department, may have metal shavings on the floor due to the nature of the process. The environment includes heat, noise, and high‐speed equipment, and employees must be able to work safely and remain alert in these conditions. During the summer months, the team has frequent opportunities to hydrate, and large fans are used to improve airflow. For safety reasons related to the processes on site, water bottles and cans, butane lighters, and electronic cigarettes or vaping canisters are not allowed on‐site. Uniforms and PPE are provided and are expected to be worn in accordance with safety policies.
