Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Settlements and Collections Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle negotiations and collections related to personal injury cases, coordinate with attorneys and insurance companies, and ensure accurate and timely settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage medical settlements and collections for personal injury cases
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, insurance companies, and patients
• Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications
• Follow up on outstanding payments and settlements
• Assist with legal documentation and understanding of legal procedures (legal knowledge is a plus)
• Use computer software, including Excel, for tracking and reporting
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• Experience in medical collections, settlements, or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of Excel and computer skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Legal knowledge related to personal injury is a plus
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
