Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and stocked.
- Manage patient records and update information in electronic health systems.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-ups efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and support staff.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, eClinicalWorks a plus
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient care.
- Current CPR certification is required.
