Maintenance Mechanic – Manufacturing / Recycling Equipment

Busy manufacturer is hiring a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to keep production equipment running. You’ll be the only mechanic on site, responsible for maintaining and repairing the machines that keep everything moving.

The Work

• Mostly preventative maintenance with ongoing small repairs
• Common issues: conveyor belts, jams, bearings, basic electrical troubleshooting
• Work is steady—most days are not chaotic, but when something goes down, it needs to get fixed
• Also includes truck, trailer, and general building maintenance

What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical ability and common sense problem-solving
• Can work independently and take ownership
• Basic Electrical Skills (3-phase a plus)
• Competent Stick Welding is a strong plus

Attitude matters more than experience.
If you take pride in keeping things running and figuring things out, you’ll do well here.
If you need constant direction, this is not the job.

Details

• Must have your own tools (we provide large/specialty equipment)
• 50-hour week, 1st shift (overtime required)
• Stable, year-round work – there will always be something for you to do

Pay & Benefits

• $25–$35/hour (based on experience)
