Project Account Manager

The Account Manager is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and completion of quotes and processing of orders for assigned accounts consistent with Mainstream initiatives and goals. This includes, but is not limited to, acquiring materials, resources and coordinating the efforts of team members to deliver completed orders/projects on time and cost efficiently, process engineering, and collaborating with customers and others within the Mainstream team.

Job Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for assigned accounts, responsible for communicating with personnel associated to assigned accounts and building a relationship with assigned account representatives.
• Assist in quoting and order entry process.
• Identify, review, document and communicate quality assurance requirements for each order/project.
• Determine order/project scope, milestones, raw materials needed and deliverables, review with operational leads and provide any necessary feedback to assigned customer.
• Use ERP software, E2 proficiently.
• Provide updates at status meetings on a weekly basis. (Frequency dependent by workload)
• Create or provide all required documentation for deliverables. (Packing slips, material certifications, certificates of conformance, inspection reports, etc.)
• Manage all documentation relating to orders/projects.
• Knowledge of Mainstream QMS and how you contribute to it.
• FOD Awareness Prevention
• Counterfeit Parts Awareness
• Miscellaneous duties assigned by management.

Entry Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and team work skills.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in Auto-Cad, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of materials and machining processes. (mills, lathes, and waterjets)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or (5) consecutive years of experience in a manufacturing environment or machining experience.
