TIN SHOP OPERATOR B
Dept: 10 Direct Labor
Reporting to: Tin Shop Lead
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Union Position Salary Range: per union scale
Position Description: The Tin Shop Operator B will be tasked with producing products using various machinery.
Key Performance Outcomes: Refer to union contract.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate Time Saver machine.
-Operate Deburring Wand.
-Operate 750 Strippit.
-Operate Strippit Punch Press.
-Material Handling to prepare for jobs.
-Train to read blueprints.
-Perform spotwelding.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Minimum 18 years of age.
Required Knowledge: High School level reading and writing in the English language. High school level math.
Experience Required: Manufacturing Plant experience preferred.
Skills/Abilities: standard computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
Job Expectations:Ability to operate normal and customary equipment/technology used in a business environment, with or without accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

The Food Processing Systems division, established in 1967, patented and introduced a continuous production line featuring a hot air fluidized bed oven for high-volume popcorn production. The production line has been adapted to produce other snack foods, cereals, and specialty products.
