Survey Crew Chief

CBIZ Talent Solutions is working with our Warren County, NJ Civil and Environmental Engineering client looking for a full-time Survey Crew Chief to join their team. The candidate will assist in executing boundary and topographic surveys for both private and municipal clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct field survey tasks, including gathering data for surveying and engineering departments
• Complete construction layout and as-built surveys
• Provide engineering support surveys
• Communicate field data with detailed sketches and photos
• Travel as required by daily work schedule

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant surveying experience
• Knowledge of robotic equipment and data collection
• Experience with real-time GPS location systems
• Familiarity with Trimble/Spectra equipment is a plus
• Experience with Trimble Access and TSC5/510 data collectors is a plus
• Certifications such as HAZWOPER, TWIC, and SWAC are a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Must be a U.S. citizen with a clean driving record and able to obtain a security clearance

Compensation range is between $55-$65K/year depending on experience.
