About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at Voodoo Brewing Co in Williamsburg, VA, as a Line Cook! We are looking for passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to create delicious dishes that delight our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to perfection in accordance with our recipes and standards.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary ingredients.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient service during peak hours.
- Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet our high standards.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Support other kitchen staff and foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Food Handler's Certification is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Team player with a passion for culinary arts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
