Certified Pediatric Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Pediatric Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
• Escort patients to exam rooms

Seeking a" stellar" Bilingual English/Spanish Certified Medical Assistant. Candidate works with the physician and other members of the specialty care team by performing a variety of clinical and administrative patient-related duties. Must have ability to excite and motivate kids with change in diet and sports participation. Must also have ability to perform exercise testing and pulmonary function testing. This position will also act as Front Desk Coordinator (when not scheduled with patients) expected to perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, reception, front end revenue cycle. Greeting patients, arriving patient and collecting co-pays, co-insurance and self-pay payments; document payments in practice management system. Answer, route and transfer phone calls. Communicate with other Medical Assistants to ensure efficient patient flow through the office and proper documentation of visits. Excellence with the English/Spanish language is a must as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
