Medical Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist with clinical and administrative tasks, and contribute to a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient examinations and procedures under the supervision of healthcare providers.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Administer medications and perform routine diagnostic tests as authorized.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards.
• Schedule Surgeries for Surgeon
• Gather Prior Auth's 
• Maintain clear communication with Surgeons, Management and Team
• Follow up with Patient calls, emails, requests
• Provide patient education and support for follow-up care and treatments.
• Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, scheduling surgery, and answering patient inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a CMA program.
• Proven experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
• Time management 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. (eClinicalWorks)
• Current CPR certification.
•
