Irrigation Installer/ Technician
Job Summary

• Install, maintain, and service irrigation systems.

General Accountabilities

• Installs irrigation systems according to specifications, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Lays and connects water lines.
• Installs irrigation fixtures, pumps, timers, and valves.
• Performs preventative maintenance on irrigation systems, including winterizing the system.
• Tests installed systems to ensure proper operation.
• Uses established methods to develop watering schedule and avoid waste.
• Ensures installed irrigation systems conform to city codes.
• Troubleshoots and repairs or replaces damaged or malfunctioning parts.
• Renovates or removes old irrigation systems.
• Keeps records as required.

Job Qualifications

• Experience: At least 2 years of related experience
• Certification: Irrigation installer/auditor certification preferred
