Medical Billing/Collection Specialist

Who we are looking for: A Medical Billing & Coding Specialist

• Your Responsibilities:
• Perform Verification of Benefits, Prior Authorizations, and communications with multiple offices.
• Assist with accurate reports and complete monthly audits
• Manage and track all outstanding accounts receivable
• Consistent follow-up on claims and appeals
• Work with providers on timely filing
• Assist and provide information for financial tracking reports
• Maintain accurate tracking of members, service programs, and inventory items
• Review patient demographic information including name, address, phone number, date of birth, insurance information, etc. to ensure complete and accurate data
• Search approved systems for additional patient demographics and insurance information to reinforce crew-captured data
• Consistently offer the highest level of personalized customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude

Entry of all codes and matching Diagnosis

• Respond to Member's concerns, suggestions and complaints in a timely, professional and consistent manner
• Greet and welcome new clinic members, assist with enrollment and front desk operations
• Assist with keeping the center well stocked and clean
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School diploma obtained
• Minimum of 2 years of Billing experience
• Some Insurance knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and customer-service oriented approach
• Knowledge of Google applications and Microsoft Office applications
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
• General knowledge of medical and insurance industry terminology.
• Knowledge of HIPAA
• Adaptability
• Multi-tasking

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
