Project Engineer - Site Utility Construction

Talus Construction is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to support projects in the Greater Bay Area. Knowledge of site utility construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

· Provide on-site technical and administrative support to the Project Manager and Superintendent

· Responsible for project document control, i.e. RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.

· Organize and maintain project files

· Approve material invoices

· Assist with change order management.

· Manage the closeout and turnover process.

· Attend project meetings.

· Site conditions verification and support as needed.

Requirements

· 3-6+/- years of Project Engineer experience in Underground Wet Utilities, Earthworks, Paving, and Grading.

· Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials

· Proficient in construction management software, such as Procore & Heavyjob, Bluebeam

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Self-starter with “Can-Do” attitude

· College degree in Construction Management preferred.

Office Location in Danville or Lathrop.
