About the Role:
Join Total Patient Primary Care of Ocala Inc as a Primary Care Medical Provider (MD/DO) and make a meaningful impact on the health and wellness of our community. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Manage chronic and acute medical conditions with a focus on preventative care.
- Perform routine physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance practice efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Active medical license in the state of Florida.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in primary care or relevant field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care with empathy and respect.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
